ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,668,048 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 01 February 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,668,048 Covid-19 cases, this includes 314,091 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,353,370 people (144,320 deaths)
- Philippines: 3,560,202 people (54,003 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,870,758 people (31,978 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,447,964 people (22,188 deaths)
- Vietnam: 2,275,727 people (37,777 deaths)
- Myanmar: 535,532 people (19,310 deaths)
- Singapore: 352,811 people (855 deaths)
- Laos: 133,853 people (547 deaths)
- Cambodia: 121,355 people (3,015 deaths)
- Brunei: 16,476 people (98 deaths)
